The project aims to propose an urban experience for tourists who take their first step into the historical city of Tarsus, enable them to rest, plan their journey and get informed in a comfortable and enjoyable environment. And the design explores pedestrian access and meeting point via creation of public square between the tourist hub and multi-purpose urban structure looks out for integrity between the tourists and local people. Tumulus of Gözlükule and Gate of Kleopatra are creating a significant axis that divides tourist information building into two pieces. The multi-purpose urban structure proposes an axis through the Gate of Kleopatra too.
